Why a blog?

Hi! If you’re here, you probably know who I am. If not, hello. I’m Angela—I enjoy sharing my family’s ranching journey in central Utah to better connect consumers to their food. Sharing online also allows me to advocate for the western way of life and most importantly, it provides me with a creative outlet.

I know what you’re thinking, “doesn’t everyone have a blog these days?” Maybe. But each blog is different. Everyone has something different to share. That’s the beauty of it. This is where I’ll share greater detail about the fashion that I love or stories about being a mom on the ranch or business advice for entrepreneurs that may not make it onto the ‘gram.

So who is Angela?

I’m a middle-aged ranch wife and mom who provides contract templates to small business owners. Just after law school I had a basic blog titled “The Fancy Ranch Lawyer” which was all of the adjectives that described me. Fancy because I love nice designer purses as well as getting dressed up or hosting a party, Ranch because obvious and Lawyer because obvious. There are obviously so many more words I’d use to describe myself now, and ones that take priority such as wife and mother, but those are still important. I’m a lot busier and I also value relationships a lot more now than I did 10+ years ago, but the descriptive words come and go. I don’t think you ever find balance doing it all, but there are days where each thing just might have a little more priority than the other and that’s where you find your happiness, or at least that’s where I find mine.
